I am doing my report on Dr.Ralph Abernathy. Ralph was Dr. martin luthur king jr's right hand man and best friend. They were both baptist ministers and civil rights leaders. ralph helped to organize the montgomery bus boycot with his fellow naacp member rosa parks. ralph knew what it felt like to be "the other" like arturo madrid. Only he didn't like the feeling so he did something about it. he didn't wait for whites to "unpack the invisiple knapsack" like McIntosh. he started helping unpack it for us only we didn't really want his help. he had his church bombed and his best friend Dr. king jr's house was bombed. Ralph Abernathy graduated with honors from alabama state university where he recieved a bachelor of science degree in mathmatics.
